The Formula To Freedom

When I started out in network marketing my ultimate goal was to create freedom for myself and my family. Time Freedom and Financial Freedom. For most newbie network marketers, that is their ultimate goal as well. I was clear on my vision, but what I wasn’t clear about was the Formula to Achieve that Freedom.

Over time it became very apparent to me exactly how I was going to win in network marketing, by Paying it Forward. I started out with a mindset of selfishness. Everyone I talked to was a prospect. I sought people out just to pitch them my opportunity and my products. As you can imagine, I did NOT get very far. As for those that did join my business, they left just as quick when they foud out that I was not offering any training or value for them.

Once I learned the principle of ‘Paying-it Forward’, my entire business changed.

The always inspiring Kellie Hosaka discussed this topic in her recent post ‘Do You Know That Paying it Forward is Your Formula to Freedom?‘ She really broke the freedom formula down and what it takes to create a Network Marketing Team that builds themselves, so you do not have to work forever.

The idea is plain and simple. We have all heard the saying “If you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he will eat for a lifetime.” When you build your team, you can’t do all the work! Every bit of your effort has to be focused on teaching your team to fish or sponsor new team mates on their own. Then their people will teach this to their people and so on… This is the process of duplication and the magic of compounding. This magic is what allows your business to grow and flourish consistently.

If you can not ‘Pay it Forward’ to your people by teaching them the steps to do exactly what you did, then you are wasting your time. It makes no sense at all to be selfish in this business. Selfishness gets you kicked out. When we learn to give by teaching others everything we know, they will flourish and we will flourish in turn. Potential prospects will be drawn to you because of the positive light and energy to give to the world.

A True Leader is first and foremost, a teacher.

How To Be A TRUE Network Marketing Leader….

When it comes to Network Marketing, one of the biggest reasons people fail in the business is because of lack of leadership. Either they don’t receive it, or they don’t know how to give it. I know that lack of support played a big part in my initial struggle in the business. I have been fortunate to come across an example of True Network Marketing Leaders. The power behind what they are doing is apparent in their results. I want to share with you what they are doing to create success…..

It is all about RELATIONSHIPS! And Not just when you are prospecting! So many people play buddy buddy while they’ve got a hot prospect on the line. As soon as they sign them up, it’s almost as if they don’t exist. It’s not about shoving your team into a system and letting the training teach them everything. It’s about creating strong, true, family relationships that last a lifetime.

If you want your people to not only stick with you, but also stay strong and motivated, then you must put the time in to support, guide and train them. It’s about showing that you care just as much about every aspect of their success, as you do your own. THAT is what builds strong teams. THAT is what creates lasting success. THAT is what TRUE LEADERS Do.

Invest All of the time you can into Your Team. The more you invest in the beginning, the bigger the pay out down the road.

The Three Traits of Top Network Marketing Leaders Part III: Team Spirit!

We have been talking about what all Top Network Marketing Leaders
have that has set them apart and has given them such great success.
We discussed desire and having a ‘Why’ that is true to your heart, one
that will motivate you to do whatever it takes to reach your goals.
We talked about having true self-worth, not just superfical self worth,
and loving yourself enough to accept the success you deserve. While
these qualities are key, they aren’t enough to create a Top Network
Marketing Leader. All Top Leaders also have a True Team Spirit.Team Spirit!team-spirit

The WinterOlympics are starting this week. Each and every athlete
that is competeing has their own amazng story. They all have a strong
desire that has driven them to work and do whatever it takes to stay
on top of their game. They all believe in themselves enough to compete
against the Top Athletes in the WORLD. And above all, they know how to
work with a team to achieve their goal.

They understand team work, but yet many Winter Olympic Sports are a
one man team. Snowboarding, Skiing, Speed Skating and Some figure
skating – just to name a few.

When most people begin building a business from home, they feel like
a one man show. They set out working alone trying to figure it out by
themselves. Most people want support, but they just don’t have it in
their up-line. What usually happens is that after a lot of effort and
money spent, they give up. Even for those with desire and self worth
that work their butts off, they won’t get far by themselves. They MUST
be a Team Player.

Even the olympians of the ‘one man’ events have a Team. They have a
coach, a mentor, a trainer, a dietician, and most probably have an
agent too. You see, it takes a group of individuals to achieve
greatness. No one person can do it alone. And in network marketing
that is especially true.

So what do you need to have the ‘Team Spirit’ of leader?

1) Mentor(s): Someone you can talk to on a personal level that will
teach you, inspire you and keep you motivated you at all times.

2) Teachers/Trainers: People you can continuously learn from and get
new ideas from. EVERYONE has something to share, teachers don’t
necessarily have to be Gurus.

3) Support your Following: Just as you want to keep learning, you want
to always be teaching and sharing you knowledge too. Growth comes
from sharing ideas and masterminding as a group. The more you give,
the more you will grow in-turn.

4) Build Relationships: As you talk to others and grow new relationships,
you will find new mentors and teachers. You will also grow your following.

Life is about teamwork. We live on this planet with millions of different
people. It’s no fun to do life alone, just as it’s no fun to do a
business alone. Make sure you have a strong and supportive team. If you
don’t have one, step up and find mentors, teachers and others to build
relationships with.

You have the power to be a ‘Top Network Marketing Leader’. Find your Desire,
grow your self-worth, and build your team spirit. If you can develope these three
traits, your will see unlimited growth in your business and in your life.

Most people have self worth, right? And you certainly do being that you’re an entrepeneur, right? Well… you might want to think that over. TRUE Leaders understand what Self-Worth really means. Check out the video below to find out if you really have Self-Worth.

EVERY Top Network Marketing Leader knows, is that in order to have success, they must first love themselves enough to believe that they deserve success. I’m just curious….When was the last time you stood in front of the mirror, looked yourself in the eyes and said “I Love You.” Sounds cheezy right? I thought so too! But only until I realized the impact my Self-Worth had on my level of Success.

The Three Traits of Top Network Marketing Leaders – Part I: Desire

What do Network Marketing leaders have in common(other than their obivous success)? How did these leaders get where they are today while the rest of us have sat and struggled?

Every Network Marketing leader has Three Common Traits. If you can find these traits within yourself, nothing will stand in your way of success.

The first of these three traits is DESIRE. Without Desire, we are lost…..

Take some time RIGHT NOW. Stop and Think about what your “WHY” is. What do you want out of life? What is driving you to want these things? What is most important to you? What is that one thing above all that gives you motivation and drives you to keep going without stopping or looking back? Find It. Write it down. Put it up where you will see it everyday. Read your “WHY” the moment you wake up in the morning, and just before you fall asleep.

If you find your “WHY” and keep it at the forefront of you mind, you will be UNSTOPPABLE. You can achieve ANYTHING that you want in life. Leaders only become leaders because they have a desire and they don’t stop, no matter how many ups and downs, to keep moving forward until they finally get there. The only difference between leaders and followers is that the leaders DON’T QUIT.

Once you have found your “WHY” share it with others. The more you state your “WHY”, the powerful it will become to you. Tell us by commenting below.
